1. What we provide
ClearLayer Access provides technical accessibility services: document remediation, website audits, code recommendations, captions, audio description scripts, monitoring and accessibility conformance reports. The exact scope, price and delivery time of each job are set out in a written quote or statement of work.
2. What we do not provide
- We do not give legal advice.
- We do not guarantee that a client will be free of legal claims or that any file or site is "compliant" beyond the scope, standard and date stated in our report.
- We do not change a client's live website. We deliver fixed files, code and instructions; the client or agency applies them.
3. Payment
Unless agreed otherwise, new clients pay 50% before work starts and 50% on delivery. Express (24-hour) delivery adds 25% and overnight (12-hour) delivery adds 50% to the quoted price.
4. Retests
We fix anything we missed within the agreed scope free of charge if you tell us within 30 days of delivery.
5. Liability
Our total liability for any job is limited to the fees paid for that job.
6. Confidentiality
We keep client files and information confidential, use them only to do the work, and sign an NDA on request. Agencies' clients are never contacted by us unless the agency asks.
7. Privacy
When you contact us we collect your name, company, email and any files you send. We use this only to reply, quote and do the work. We do not sell or share it for marketing. Files are deleted 90 days after delivery unless you ask us to keep them longer. To see or delete your data, email [email protected].
